Just out the back door, step into our backyard bird refuge. Each season has its own special beauty with overlapping bloom times for continued flowers and dramatic color. Professionally landscaped, the large yard attracts a wide variety of songbirds, chipmunks, dragonflies and butterflies.

The custom pond and waterfall (with speckled goldfish!) provides relaxation with its blooming lilies and magical sound. The patio is furnished with a large, patio table and umbrella, chairs and gas grill. Also, a garden sitting-area has chairs and a stone fire-pit, perfect for s’mores! Help yourself to the blueberries and raspberries, or snip some of the fresh culinary herbs available Spring through Fall. The backyard is fully-fenced and great for children and pets to play.

 
Enjoy all the seasonal changes and unique birdhouses as you stroll along the wildflower walk, across the bridge and up to the large deck which overlooks the river. Take in the view of Mount Si, the colorful sunsets, and later, gaze up at the brilliant night sky. Also, if you’re lucky, you might hear the hootings of our Pygmy Owl.

The 100’ of private riverfront is a great area for trout-fishing; or visit the beach to see water-striders, periwinkles and minnows in the river pools. This is also an easy spot from which to launch your kayak or inner-tube. Equipment rentals are available. You may even get to see a kingfisher, osprey and/or bald eagle who are frequent river visitors! Also, you will find easy access to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, great for walking and biking.
